“Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity.” -Simone Weil
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
One of my passions is to help couples, families and individuals move through places that feel stuck, lonely, and stifling. Sometimes life can be overwhelming, and it can be difficult to even know where to start. That’s why I believe it’s important to offer presence: a “with-ness” and witness to what you are facing. I believe in the power of a therapeutic relationship and want to move with you towards the fullness, both the grief and goodness, that is waiting.
Therapy is a chance for us to explore everything about the dynamics that are impacting your life and relationships. It is not a place to show up and perform, or rush to heal or be fixed (because no one needs to be fixed). It is a place to bring the messy, the real, the confusing, the consuming; to try to make sense of the past, to learn to accept the present, and to grow in the face of an unknown future. I view relational interactions through an attachment theory lens and a framework of justice/anti-oppression.
I have been transformed by being a therapist, AND having my own therapist. My grief journey, confusion, fury, trauma and frustrations in life have been held lovingly, patiently, by another. I have not “arrived,” and as much as I desire ongoing healing, I recognize that the systems we live in do NOT contribute to collective or individual thriving. I wish for and am trying to build a world where we would care so well for one another that flourishing would be inevitable.
I’ve been providing therapy services in the beautiful state of Washington since 2019 and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and am based in Seattle. I studied at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology and have had the honor of working with several youth, couples, individuals and families. I have a passion for working with women regarding divorce, boundaries, spiritual/religious trauma, and emotional safety. I work with people from age 10 up!
I currently have openings for clients via telehealth (video visit sessions), on weekdays from 10am-7pm (*Pacific Time- all clients must be in the state of Washington during our telehealth sessions).
For those not using insurance, my private pay rates per session, weekly or bi-weekly, are:
$150 for individuals
$175 for couples and families
I use Headway to bill insurance, but if I don’t accept your insurance, I am able to provide a monthly “superbill” that you may send to your insurer to see if they will reimburse; you should contact them prior, to be sure.
